Lawyer and Professor. Full professor of labour law, Supreme Court Counsel.

After his degree he became one of Prof. Mattia Persiani’s academicians and began his  professional lawyer’s career in the family firm, becoming a partner in 2003.

He advises primary associations and industrial corporations of nationwide and international importance, not only on out-of-court issues. His professional activity is conspicuous for his ability to balance his high degree of technical and scientific expertise regarding the subject-matter, with his in-depth knowledge of the internal management techniques  regarding even extremely complex labour structures.

He has published three monographs (Essay on the organisation of Labour Padova 2002=The collective employment contract following the privatisation of public employment, Padova 2005; Employer’s insolvency and workers’ protection, Torino 2015), has edited various scientific publications and written over eighty legal essays on the principle legislative issues emerging from the development of labour law and industrial relations. He is also co-director of the employment sector of the magazine, giustizia civile.com (civil justice) and a member of the drafting committee for the magazine Argomenti di diritto del lavoro (Labour law issues).

He currently holds tenure as full professor at the University of Rome “Universitas Mercatorum”, where he is Dean of the Faculty of Economics and also presides over  the labour law and constitutional labour law courses at the LUISS. Formerly he also directed the legal clinic of labour law, which he founded  at the Teramo University. As a columnist he writes for newspapers with nationwide circulation.

The close and inextricable integration between his legal assistance experience and university activities have always represented a strongpoint in a professional career constantly geared to the critical focusing of the issues involved and, with respect to an ongoing search for innovative solutions, to the anticipation of market evolution, the guidelines expressed by case-law and the trends pertaining to labour law doctrine.
